Workshop 5 took the form of a lecture performance by Guido Orgs, telling the story of NEUROLIVE from his personal perspective as Principal Investigator and Scientific Director of this unique 5-year interdisciplinary research project.
Drawing on his own interdisciplinary background as both a dance artist and a cognitive neuroscientist, Orgs uses the live context of this lecture performance to take a journey through the ways that NEUROLIVE has investigated liveness.
The Neurocognition of Liveness – a Lecture Performance was created by Guido Orgs in collaboration with Jia-Yu Corti and Matthias Sperling. It was first presented on 3 June 2025 at Siobhan Davies Studios, as part of the 3-day symposium marking the conclusion of the NEUROLIVE project.
